Morrie Wagener has been passionate about automobiles since he was a boy, inspiring one of the most successful groups of auto dealerships in Minnesota.

Morrie pursued his interest in autos by attending the Dunwoody Technical Institute in Minneapolis. After completing his training, he started his career in the auto industry as a mechanic, working on import vehicles in Wayzata. In 1960, Morrie purchased his first imported auto repair facility. This led to Morrie’s acquisition of his first franchise — a Saab dealership — in 1966. Over the years, Morrie’s Automotive Group evolved and now includes a total of 13 dealerships in and around Minneapolis and stretching all the way to Chippewa Falls, WI.
